Dementia Caregiver

This full-time first-shift Dementia Caregiver position runs from 6:30am to 2:45pm at Belmont Village Senior Living in Houston, Texas. The role provides hands-on care to seniors residing in the facility's Assisted Living and Memory Care community.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living to an assigned group of senior residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care
• Promote socialization and encourage participation in community activities while maintaining resident safety and well-being
• Document and maintain accurate records of daily care and services provided, and report observed changes to supervisors
• Uphold standards of care, safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance
• Provide hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene, and incontinence care as needed

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider
