Medication Tech

This is a part-time Medication Technician role at Belmont Village Senior Living, an Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Suwanee, Georgia. The position supports residents with medication administration and related care under licensed nurse supervision on varying shifts of 7p-7a or 7a-5p, every other weekend, and PRN. Work includes maintaining electronic medical records and assisting with ADL care as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer routine medications according to physician orders and community guidelines.
• Provide assistance with ADL care when required.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and report reactions or medication refusals to the licensed nurse.
• Take resident vital signs and monitor responses or side effects.
• Attend shift meetings and update nursing staff on resident conditions.
• Adhere to resident rights and all state and federal regulations on infection control, fire safety, and hazardous materials.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a Caregiver in a licensed community or facility
• C.N.A. License in states where required
• Current Medication Technician or Aide Certification in states where required
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills
