Private Caregiver

Private Caregiver positions are available at Belmont Village Senior Living in San Diego, California. The role supports residents in an Assisted Living and Memory Care community. Full-time and part-time schedules are offered with required weekend availability; listed shifts include 2:30pm-10:30pm, 10:00am-10:30pm, 8:00am-8:30pm, and 7:30am-6:30pm, along with weekend-only and double-shift options.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living to an assigned group of senior residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care
• Promote socialization and participation in community activities while prioritizing resident safety and well-being
• Document and maintain accurate records of daily care and services provided; promptly report observed changes to supervisors
• Uphold standards of care, safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance
• Provide hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene, and incontinence care as needed
• Prioritize hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction in all interactions

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider
• Ability to effectively use company-issued electronic devices such as tablets, smartphones, and laptops for job-related tasks
• Completion of post-offer pre-employment screenings including background check, drug screening, physical examination, and TB testing
