LVN Charge Nurse

This full-time LVN Charge Nurse position is located at a Belmont Village Senior Living community in San Diego, California. The role operates on a rotating 4-days-on/2-days-off schedule covering the shifts 6:30am-3:00pm and 2:30pm-11:00pm, with weekend availability required. The position involves medication administration and clinical oversight for residents in a luxury senior living setting.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on physician orders, coordinate services with ancillary providers, and report changes in resident condition or other clinical information to physicians and families
• Administer medications to an assigned group of residents according to physician orders, document any adverse reactions or observations, and report findings as needed
• Oversee Medication Technicians and care providers to ensure resident care and service plans are followed
• Update and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports

Requirements

• Active LVN or LPN license in California
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
• Minimum one year of medication administration experience preferred
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills
