Wellness Coordinator

The Wellness Coordinator role is a full-time position at Belmont Village Senior Living in Lakeway, Texas, with a Tuesday-Saturday schedule of 9:00am-5:00pm. This position supports the Director of Nursing in a luxury senior living community and requires an active nursing license as an LVN, LPN, or RN. The role focuses on clinical oversight, regulatory compliance, and coordination of care services for residents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the community Wellness Center
• Follow up on physicians orders, coordinate services with ancillary providers, and report changes of condition or clinical care information to physicians and families
• Administer medication to an assigned group of residents according to physicians orders and report any adverse reactions or clinical observations with necessary documentation
• Ensure resident care and service plans are followed by supervising Medication Technicians and Caregivers
• Make appropriate situational decisions and manage conflict resolution
• Update and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports
• Assist the Director of Resident Care Services in regulatory compliance and enhancing resident satisfaction
• Assist in maintaining and training of infection control and hazard communication programs

Requirements

• Active LVN, LPN, or RN nursing license in the State of Texas
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
• Minimum one year of medication administration experience preferred
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills
