LVN Charge Nurse

This LVN Charge Nurse position is located at Belmont Village Senior Living, a luxury senior living community in Lakeway, Texas. The role covers part-time shifts of 6:30am-3:00pm or 2:30pm-11:00pm with days varying to include weekends, as well as PRN shifts that also include 10:30pm-7:00am. Weekend availability is required, and the hourly rate is $33.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on physician orders, coordinate services with ancillary providers, and report changes in condition or other clinical information to physicians and families
• Administer medications to an assigned group of residents according to physician orders and document any adverse reactions or clinical observations
• Oversee tasks performed by Medication Technicians and care providers to ensure resident care and service plans are followed
• Update and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports

Requirements

• Active LVN or LPN license in Texas
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
• Minimum one year of medication administration experience preferred
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills
