Dementia Caregiver

Dementia Caregiver positions are open at Belmont Village Senior Living in Chicago, Illinois, within an Assisted Living and Memory Care community. All shifts are available with free on-site garage parking provided. The role involves hands-on support for seniors as part of a collaborative care team.

Responsibilities

• Assist an assigned group of residents with Activities of Daily Living in the Assisted Living and Memory Care settings
• Support socialization and participation in community activities while maintaining resident safety and well-being
• Document daily care services accurately and report observed changes to supervisors promptly
• Maintain standards for care, safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance
• Provide assistance with toileting, hygiene, and incontinence care as needed

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider
• Proficiency using company-issued electronic devices such as tablets, smartphones, and laptops for job tasks
• Completion of post-offer pre-employment screenings including background check, drug screening, physical examination, and TB testing
