Caregiver Memory Care

This full-time Caregiver Memory Care role at Belmont Village Senior Living supports residents in an Assisted Living and Memory Care community located in San Jose, California. The position follows rotating shifts of 2:30pm-10:45pm and 10:30pm-6:45am that include weekends. A Certified Nursing Assistant license is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living to an assigned group of senior residents in the Assisted Living and Memory Care community
• Promote socialization and participation in community activities while maintaining resident safety and well-being
• Document and maintain accurate records of daily care and services provided, and report observed changes to supervisors
• Uphold standards of care, safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance
• Provide hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene, and incontinence care as needed

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider
• Completion of post-offer background check, drug screening, physical examination, and TB testing
