Caregiver Assisted Living

This Caregiver role at Belmont Village Senior Living is based in San Jose, California, and covers the 2:30pm-10:45pm shift. The position supports residents in an Assisted Living and Memory Care community setting. Caregivers assist seniors with daily living needs in this senior living facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist an assigned group of senior residents with Activities of Daily Living in the Assisted Living and Memory Care community
• Encourage participation in community activities while maintaining resident safety and well-being
• Record daily care and services provided, and report observed changes to supervisors
• Maintain standards for care, safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance
• Deliver hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene, and incontinence care as needed

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Clear verbal and written communication in English
• Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider
• Completion of post-offer screenings including background check, drug screening, physical examination, and TB testing
