Medication Tech - Certified

The Medication Technician - Certified role at Belmont Village Senior Living is based in Memphis, Tennessee, within an Assisted Living and Memory Care community. This position operates on a Friday through Sunday schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM and includes a $500 sign-on bonus. The work centers on medication administration and resident support under the supervision of a licensed nurse, with additional administrative assistance provided to nursing staff as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer routine medications in line with physician orders and community guidelines while assisting with ADL care as required.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and notify the licensed nurse of any medication reactions or refusals.
• Monitor and record resident vital signs while observing for responses or side effects.
• Participate in shift meetings to provide updates on resident conditions to nursing staff.
• Follow all resident rights along with state and federal regulations on infection control, fire safety, and hazardous materials.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a Caregiver in a licensed community or facility
• C.N.A. License in states where required
• Current Medication Technician or Aide Certification in states where required
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills
