Activities Assistant Senior Living

This full-time Enrichment Leader position is at Belmont Village Senior Living, a luxury senior living community offering Assisted Living and Memory Care in Memphis, Tennessee. The role operates on a Sunday-Thursday schedule from 8:30am to 5pm and focuses on planning and leading specialized activities for seniors with cognitive disabilities. The position follows an established memory enrichment program curriculum within the community.

Responsibilities

• Lead and instruct small groups of cognitively impaired seniors through therapeutic Whole Brain Fitness programs.
• Prepare materials and perform research to support memory enrichment activities.
• Assist with cognitive assessments, monitor resident participation trends, and maintain compliance documentation.

Requirements

• Associates Degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 months experience leading group activities with a special needs population.
• Ability to work the Sunday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm schedule, which may include weekends.
• Clear verbal and written communication in English.
