Dementia Caregiver

Belmont Village Senior Living seeks Dementia Caregivers for its memory care unit within an Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Oak Park, Illinois. Full-time and PRN positions are available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, with required weekend and holiday availability as scheduled. Compensation is set at $18.50 per hour for CNAs; a CNA license is not required but is welcomed along with relevant caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist an assigned group of senior residents with Activities of Daily Living in the Assisted Living and Memory Care community
• Support resident socialization and participation in community activities while maintaining safety and well-being
• Document daily care services accurately and report observed changes to supervisors promptly
• Maintain standards of care, safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance
• Provide hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene, and incontinence care as needed

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider
• Availability for weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Capacity for fast-paced, physically active work
