Caregiver Assisted Living

This full-time Caregiver position is with Belmont Village Senior Living at its Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. The role follows a 4-days-on, 2-days-off rotation with required weekend availability and starts at $20 per hour. The site serves senior residents in both assisted living and memory care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living to an assigned group of senior residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care
• Promote socialization and participation in community activities while prioritizing resident safety and well-being
• Document and maintain accurate records of daily care and services provided, and promptly report observed changes to supervisors
• Uphold standards of care, safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance
• Provide hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene, and incontinence care as needed

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider
• Ability to effectively use company-issued electronic devices such as tablets, smartphones, and laptops for job-related tasks
• Completion of post-offer pre-employment screenings including background check, drug screening, physical examination, and TB testing
