Director of Nursing RN

The Director of Nursing RN position at Belmont Village Rancho Santa Fe oversees nursing and resident care services for a senior living community in Rancho Santa Fe, California. The role leads clinical operations across assisted living and memory care within a newly constructed facility that also offers independent living. Supported by regional and corporate leadership, the position manages assessments, compliance, medication programs, and daily nursing team functions in a 24-hour operation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure overall compliance of clinical services and programs, including accuracy of medication administration
• Collaborate with physician offices, ancillary services, responsible parties, and internal care teams to deliver quality resident care
• Complete timely resident assessments and develop and initiate care and service plans
• Provide support for day-to-day care and clinical needs as required
• Conduct interviewing and hiring, evaluate employee performance, provide coaching and training, and delegate assignments for direct reports

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum two years of nursing managerial experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Senior Living community
• Ability to work flexible schedules in a 24-hour operation, including weekends as needed
