LVN Charge Nurse

The LVN Charge Nurse role is open at Belmont Village Senior Living, a luxury senior living community located near I-15 and Rancho Penasquitos Blvd in San Diego, California. Full-time positions follow a 6:30am-3:00pm schedule Sunday through Thursday, part-time covers Friday and Saturday on the same shift, and PRN opportunities include 6:30am-3:00pm, 2:30pm-11:00pm, or 10:30pm-7:00am. The position supports medication administration and clinical oversight for residents in this senior living environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on physician orders, coordinate services with ancillary providers, and report changes in condition or other clinical information to physicians and families
• Administer medications to an assigned group of residents per physician orders, document any adverse reactions or observations, and report as needed
• Oversee tasks performed by Medication Technicians and care providers to ensure resident care and service plans are followed
• Make situational decisions and manage conflict constructively
• Update and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports

Requirements

• Active LVN or LPN license in California
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
• Minimum one year of medication administration experience preferred
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills
