Server Waitstaff

This part-time Dining Room Server role is located at Belmont Village Senior Living in San Diego, California. The position supports meal service in an assisted living community with varying shifts of 6:30am-2:00pm, 10:45am-7:15pm, and 4:00pm-8:00pm that include weekends and holidays. Compensation is $19-20 per hour with no tips.

Responsibilities

• Provide table service to assigned tables in the on-site restaurant during meals and special events
• Take orders, deliver food and beverages, and confirm correct temperature and presentation
• Set up the dining room with flatware, condiments, and beverages before service
• Assist with meal service at community events and celebrations
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining room and tables during service

Requirements

• Minimum age of 16 years
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Prior restaurant server experience preferred
• Knowledge of dining etiquette preferred
