Enrichment Leader

The Enrichment Leader is a part-time position at Belmont Village Senior Living in San Diego, California. The role runs Fridays and Saturdays from 8:30am to 5:00pm at $22.50 per hour and centers on leading activities for residents with dementia in a senior living community setting. The position follows an established memory enrichment curriculum and includes documentation tasks related to resident participation and cognitive assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and instruct small groups of cognitively impaired seniors in Whole Brain Fitness programs.
• Prepare materials and conduct research to support memory enrichment activities.
• Assist with cognitive assessments, track resident participation trends, and maintain compliance documentation.

Requirements

• Associate degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 months experience leading group activities with a special needs population.
• Ability to work the defined Friday and Saturday schedule, including weekends.
• Clear verbal and written communication in English.
