Housekeeper

This full-time Housekeeper position is located at Belmont Village Senior Living in San Diego, California. The schedule runs Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00am to 5:30pm in a luxury senior living community. Duties center on cleaning resident apartments, common areas, offices, and handling laundry and waste removal.

Responsibilities

• Perform dusting, vacuuming, bed making, and spot-cleaning of carpets in resident apartments and bathrooms
• Collect, wash, fold, and return resident laundry items on a timely basis
• Pick up and dispose of resident trash, remove waste, and replace trash can liners
• Maintain cleanliness of administrative offices, hallways, and common spaces through dusting, vacuuming, and spot-cleaning carpets
• Clean and sanitize common area bathrooms, restock supplies, and maintain a tidy appearance
• Empty trash and replace liners throughout the community on a regular basis

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Housekeeper in hotels or a comparable setting
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Ability to work assigned shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Offers of employment contingent upon completion of post-offer screenings including background check, drug screening, physical examination, and TB testing
