Server

The Dining Room Server role is open at Belmont Village Senior Living in San Jose, California. This position operates in an Assisted Living community and centers on table service in the on-site restaurant along with support for special events. The non-tipped role includes a steady schedule serving a consistent resident population.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive table service to assigned tables and ensure a positive dining experience for residents.
• Take orders accurately, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages on time with correct temperature and presentation.
• Set up the dining room before service, including flatware, condiments, and beverages.
• Assist with meal service during special events and celebrations held at the community.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining room and assigned tables while meeting resident needs throughout each meal.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Prior restaurant server experience and knowledge of dining etiquette preferred.
• Completion of post-offer background check, drug screening, physical examination, and TB testing required.
