Enrichment Leader

Full-time Enrichment Leader role at Belmont Village Senior Living in San Ramon, California. The position supports residents with dementia through a structured memory care program on a Sunday-Thursday or Friday-Monday schedule from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Belmont Village operates senior living communities that include independent living, assisted living, and memory care services.

Responsibilities

• Leading and teaching small groups of cognitively impaired seniors in therapeutic Whole Brain Fitness programs.
• Preparing materials and conducting relevant research to lead memory enrichment activities.
• Assisting with Cognitive Assessments, tracking and trending resident participation, and maintaining compliance-related documentation.

Requirements

• Associates Degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field of study.
• Minimum of 6 months leading group activities with a special needs population.
• Ability to work Sunday-Thursday or Friday-Monday shifts from 8:30am to 4:30pm, which may include weekends.
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
