Caregiver Assisted Living

This Caregiver Assisted Living role is with Belmont Village Senior Living at their San Ramon, California community, which operates Assisted Living and Memory Care residences. Multiple shift options are available, including part-time 6:30am-2:45pm Friday-Sunday, full-time 6:30am-2:45pm Saturday-Monday and Wednesday, and 2:30pm-10:45pm Friday-Sunday. The position involves direct assistance with daily living activities for senior residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living to an assigned group of senior residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care
• Promote socialization and participation in community activities while maintaining resident safety and well-being
• Document and maintain accurate records of daily care and services provided, and report observed changes to supervisors
• Uphold standards of care, safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance
• Provide hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene, and incontinence care as needed

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider
• Completion of post-offer pre-employment screenings including background check, drug screening, physical examination, and TB testing
