Bistro Attendant

This part-time Bistro Attendant role is located at Belmont Village Senior Living in San Ramon, California. The position runs Sunday through Thursday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm in the on-site Bistro that serves residents of the senior living community. The attendant supports food service and maintains operations during scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bistro Cook with preparation of high-quality fresh food
• Greet guests, respond to requests, and accommodate special requests to support guest satisfaction
• Prepare the Bistro for service by maintaining flatware, condiments, and beverages in readiness
• Invite guests to enjoy meals, snacks, and beverages in the Bistro
• Ensure food quality, freshness, and adequate supply throughout the day
• Monitor and maintain Bistro supplies and stock levels
• Perform kitchen and restaurant tasks including setup, service, and cleanup
• Adhere to health department regulations and company sanitation standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Minimum of 6 months server or barista experience preferred
• Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Successful completion of state and federal criminal background check, drug screen, job-related physical, and TB test required prior to start
