Job Description
This LVN or LPN position is a 3rd shift role (10:30pm - 6:45am) at Belmont Village Senior Living in Houston, Texas. The role supports an Assisted Living and Memory Care community and involves medication administration, clinical coordination, and oversight of resident care plans. The position requires an active Texas nursing license and focuses on regulatory compliance and timely interventions with physicians, families, and ancillary providers.
Responsibilities
- Follow up on physician orders and coordinate services with ancillary providers
- Report changes in resident condition and other clinical information to physicians and families
- Administer medications to an assigned group of residents according to physician orders
- Document and report any adverse reactions or clinical observations
- Oversee tasks performed by Medication Technicians and caregivers to ensure care and service plans are followed
- Update and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports
Requirements
- Active LVN or LPN license in Texas
- CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- One year of medication administration experience preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
- Intermediate computer and mobile device skills
