Dementia Caregiver

This Dementia Caregiver position is located at a Belmont Village Senior Living community in Houston, Texas. The role provides hands-on assistance to seniors residing in Assisted Living and Memory Care settings. Belmont Village Senior Living owns and operates luxury senior living communities across the United States and in Mexico City.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living to an assigned group of senior residents in the Assisted Living and Memory Care community
• Promote socialization and participation in community activities while prioritizing resident safety and well-being
• Document and maintain accurate records of daily care and services provided and report observed changes to supervisors
• Uphold standards of care, safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance
• Provide hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene, and incontinence care as needed

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider
