The Client and Identity Engineering team is accountable for establishing the user identity and endpoint security infrastructure in Airbnbs corporate environment Client and Identity Engineering encompass corporate zero trust deployments

The team works on systems which have higher reliability and security requirements than most backend systems or services Our products are critical services, downtime across these services can result in downtime for Airbnb employees and partners

In addition, the team collaborates closely with our security engineering teams to design new features and evolve the platforms to meet the engineering challenges as business needs present themselves.

As a Software Engineer, you will build and maintain robust, scalable, and secure systems that underpin the entire Airbnb Zero Trust ecosystem. You will play a pivotal role in the execution for these critical platforms. This is an opportunity to be a part of impactful work, and contribute to the safety and trust of the Airbnb community.

A Typical Day

• Work with open source products to build the next generation client platform for all Airbnb corporate endpoints. Build on our zero trust back end suite, supporting security services, network paths, and user and device signaling, with a mind for enabling value for the business for their best work.
