The Ledger team is part of the core platform of the Airbnb Payments ecosystem, where we own the financial integrity of Airbnbs money movement The team is building Airbnbs financial system of record and the platform that governs when money is held rather than moved

The team engineers are responsible for ensuring that every payment event is recorded accurately and completely, and that money moves — or is held — exactly as Airbnbs obligations and controls require, in a way that is reliable, accurate, timely, scalable, and auditable
