CNA - On Call

This on-call Certified Nursing Assistant position is with Vi Living at the Vi at Grayhawk senior living community in Scottsdale, Arizona. The role supports geriatric residents with clinical tasks and daily care needs on an as-needed basis at the address 7501 E. Thompson Peak Pkwy, Scottsdale, AZ 85255.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed care staff with a variety of clinical and technical tasks for assigned residents
• Help residents with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, dining and tray services, and escort services
• Perform vital signs checks and weight measurements
• Carry out additional care-related duties as assigned
• Take part in quality assessment and performance improvement activities
• Report changes in resident condition to appropriate staff

Requirements

• Current state CNA certification and prior CNA experience
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Current CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications
• Current First Aid certification, or willingness and ability to obtain it
• Food handlers certification and Certified Medical Technician or Certified Medication Aide certification where required
• Basic computer skills or ability to learn them
• Prior experience working with geriatric clients preferred
