Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, GRC

About the Role

Vanta is building the Trust Management Platform that helps organizations earn and prove trust through continuous security monitoring and compliance verification. This is a senior fullstack engineering position within the GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) organization, which develops Vanta's core product offerings for enterprise customers integrating security and compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects spanning multiple stakeholders and engineering teams to drive significant business impact
• Set technical direction for critical areas of the product and infrastructure to support continued rapid scaling
• Design, develop, and own new product features and infrastructure using modern frameworks and tooling (TypeScript, React, Node.js)
• Mentor and collaborate with talented engineers to deliver solutions that improve customers' security posture and compliance visibility
• Contribute to building and shaping Vanta's engineering culture as the organization grows

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of software engineering industry experience
• Demonstrated technical leadership through team leadership or ownership of complex projects
• Prior startup experience or work in environments prioritizing bias for action
• Experience working on greenfield projects
• Interest in learning about security or prior experience in the cybersecurity domain
