Sr. AI GTM Engineer

Vanta is hiring a Sr. AI GTM Engineer to design and ship internal AI products that transform how our go-to-market teams operate. You'll partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to build novel applications and platforms that accelerate pipeline generation, improve win rates, and scale customer engagement. This role is ideal for builders who want to solve complex business problems with elegant technical solutions and define new categories of enterprise software.

About the Role

Vanta's GTM Engineering team operates as an internal incubator, applying AI at scale to revolutionize customer engagement. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and go-to-market strategy, shipping solutions ranging from rapid prototypes to production-grade systems. You'll own end-to-end outcomes, moving quickly from concept to production while directly shaping how customers experience Vanta in the field.

Responsibilities

• Ideate and build products that transform how Vanta generates new business, engages prospects and customers, and grows existing relationships
• Own the full product lifecycle: prototype, iterate, ship, and maintain solutions that solve real-world customer and internal workflow problems
• Partner with Vanta's CRO and executive leadership to architect and execute plans that position Vanta at the forefront of GTM organizations leveraging AI
• Apply AI and modern technologies in novel ways to systematize and automate GTM workflows, including building agentic subject matter experts and seller systems
• Design, develop, and maintain internal-facing web applications and AI-driven agents using Python, TypeScript, SQL, and modern frameworks
• Ship reliable, maintainable systems with technical documentation, monitoring, and testing frameworks to ensure adoption and observability
• Translate learnings from customer-facing work into feedback for product and research teams to inform broader product development
• Evaluate and implement new technologies, orchestration tools, and AI platforms with a clear "build vs. buy" perspective

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on building and shipping full-stack applications
• Proven track record of building products from the ground up, navigating ambiguity, and owning outcomes in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments
• Deep technical proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript), web frameworks (React, Node.js), and SQL
• Experience applying AI and automation to business workflows, including work with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or workflow automation tools
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders (Sales, Operations, Customer Success) to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Product mindset: care about user experience, business impact, and building systems people love to use
• Ability to move quickly from prototype to production, make effective tradeoffs, and ship incrementally
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical decisions to business stakeholders and executive leadership
• Experience with GTM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, workflow automation tools like Workato or n8n) or modern data stack tools (Snowflake, dbt) is a plus
