As a Forward Deployed Engineer on Notion's Services team, you will lead hands-on technical delivery for enterprise customer engagements, designing and deploying production-ready solutions that integrate Notion as an operating layer across customers' technical and operational environments. You'll embed with customers to build custom integrations, AI agents, data pipelines, and automations while troubleshooting complex implementation challenges and translating real-world problems into product improvements.

Own end-to-end technical delivery of customer engagements, including discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation
Act as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers make informed architectural decisions and identify expansion opportunities for Notion
Design, build, and operate custom agents, integrations, automations, and data pipelines using Notion's APIs, MCP, Agent APIs, and automation infrastructure
Lead large-scale content and data migrations, including data modeling, transformation logic, validation, and post-migration optimization
Work directly with customer engineering, IT, security, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, identify constraints, and make sound architectural decisions
Troubleshoot complex implementation issues across APIs, integrations, automation logic, data quality, permissions, authentication, and system limits
Design feedback loops with Product and Engineering, translating implementation challenges into actionable insights and technical requirements that influence the product roadmap
Build reusable technical assets including migration tooling, integration patterns, reference implementations, scripts, and internal delivery tools
Help define scalable methodologies for complex technical implementations by improving scoping artifacts, build patterns, documentation, and engineering best practices
