Mobile Engineer, iOS

About the Role

Ramp is seeking an iOS Engineer to enhance its mobile app that serves thousands of businesses managing spend and payment workflows. You'll develop new features on a proven product while integrating AI-driven capabilities into the mobile experience, directly impacting how companies automate financial operations across billions in transactions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and launch new products to the iOS app
• Establish engineering processes, tools, and systems that scale the codebase and team productivity
• Conduct code reviews and define engineering standards
• Partner with Product and Design to identify features that drive app success
• Work with cross-functional teams to incorporate customer feedback and continuously improve the product

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of mobile development experience
• Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI for iOS development
• Track record of launching at least one mobile app or multiple features that reached large user bases
• Strong understanding of mobile design patterns and best practices
• Drive to work in a fast-paced environment and continuously develop expertise

Nice to Have

• Experience with web technologies (React, TypeScript)
• Experience with backend technologies (Python, Flask, SQL, OpenAPI)
• Familiarity with Ramp's mobile stack: Swift Concurrency, The Composable Architecture, Bazel, OpenAPI, Buildkite
• App Store Connect management experience
