Job Description
About the Role
Ramp is seeking an Executive Assistant to support senior leaders within the Go-To-Market Finance organization. This position operates at the intersection of high-stakes financial decision-making and sensitive business operations, requiring someone who can exercise exceptional discretion and judgment in confidential environments.
You will manage calendars and inboxes for multiple Finance executives, serving as the coordination hub between Legal, Finance, GTM, and external advisors. The role demands comfort with fast-paced, deal-driven timelines and the ability to operate independently while knowing when to escalate.
This position is based in our New York office (Chelsea) and requires in-office presence at least three days per week.
Responsibilities
- Manage calendars across multiple Finance executives with sensitivity to confidentiality and transaction timing
- Triage and manage inboxes for at least two executives—drafting responses, flagging urgent items, and ensuring high-priority communications receive timely attention
- Coordinate finance workstreams including document management, signature logistics, and transaction tracking
- Act as the central coordination point across Legal, Finance, GTM, and external counsel to ensure alignment and execution
- Draft and manage executive correspondence including investor and counterparty communications
- Track deadlines, deliverables, and commitments across financial planning cycles
- Support planning and execution of finance leadership offsites and cross-functional sessions
- Manage budgets and vendor relationships on behalf of Finance leadership
- Identify opportunities to streamline administrative workflows using AI, automation, and modern tools
- Handle sensitive business, personnel, and financial information with complete discretion
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience supporting senior executives in Legal, Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or similarly high-confidentiality environments
- Proven experience managing executive inboxes—triaging, prioritizing, drafting responses, and maintaining control over complex communications
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive financial materials with complete discretion
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail; you identify issues others miss and prevent items from falling through cracks
- Sound judgment about when to act independently versus when to escalate
- Clear, precise written and verbal communication skills with understanding of legal and financial contexts
- High emotional intelligence and ability to build trust quickly with executives who prioritize reliability
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority workstreams simultaneously without compromising quality
- Strong proficiency with Google Workspace, DocuSign or equivalent, and collaboration tools like Slack
- Demonstrated experience using AI or automation to streamline administrative work and increase leverage
