Manager, Solution Engineering, Public Sector

About the Role

Wiz is seeking a Manager, Solution Engineering for its Public Sector team based in the Washington, D.C. region. You will lead a team of Solutions Engineers focused on enterprise and major accounts, serving as both a technical manager and hands-on cloud security advisor to government customers across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Solutions Engineers focused on Enterprise/Majors accounts within the Public Sector
• Recruit, retain, develop, and coach regionally-focused Solutions Engineers
• Partner with regional sales directors and account teams to build strong customer relationships
• Serve as technical advisor to customers on cloud security matters across multiple cloud platforms
• Partner with sales and product teams to drive operational excellence and efficiency
• Drive team accountability to deal management in Salesforce

Requirements

• Cloud security experience
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
• Network engineering experience or background
• Strong understanding of operating systems, virtual machines, and containers
• Knowledge of risk-based security assessments and frameworks
• Understanding of cloud identity, access management, certificates, and key management
• Based in or willing to relocate to the DC/Baltimore/Virginia region
• Must meet EAR Part 772 and ITAR 120.15 definition of a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, green card holder, or protected person) and reside in the contiguous United States
• Legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools
• Technical SaaS selling experience
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code

Benefits

This full-time position offers base salary, bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. The US base salary range is $207,900–$229,600 USD, determined by role, level, location, and individual factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
