About the Role
As a Senior Solutions Support Engineer, you will deliver technical support for Wiz's cloud security platform while working with a global support team. This role combines hands-on troubleshooting, system administration, and technical solution design to resolve customer issues and scale support operations through automation and coding.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical customer support for the Wiz product, owning and troubleshooting customer issues from initial report through resolution
- Identify cases requiring technical or strategic escalation and coordinate handoffs to product and engineering teams
- Serve as a subject matter expert on core Wiz platform technologies, providing technical guidance and expertise
- Mentor and coach team members in case management practices and technical skill development
- Create and maintain training materials and documentation for the support team
- Design and implement automation solutions that scale the support offering
- Manage incident requests and coordinate with product and engineering teams
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours, weekend, and holiday support coverage
Requirements
- Must be available to work 9 AM–6 PM EST/EDT
- 7+ years of hands-on technical experience in customer support, technical support, system administration, or related customer-facing role
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- 2+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience (AKS, GKS, EKS, or similar)
- Ability to read and debug code in one or more languages: Java, Python, Shell, JavaScript, JSON
- Proficiency with command-line tools and Linux operating systems
- Legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must meet EAR Part 772 and ITAR 120.15 definition of a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected person) and reside in the contiguous United States
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of Tier 2/3 technical escalation support experience or related customer-facing role
- 2+ years of deep technical and architectural knowledge in security, networking, and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Benefits
This full-time position offers base salary, bonus, equity, and benefits. The US base salary range is $128,000–$176,000 USD.
