About the Role
Join Wiz's global support team as a Solutions Support Engineer covering weekend second shift hours. You'll deliver technical support for Wiz's cloud and AI security platform, troubleshooting customer issues while building automation solutions to scale our support operations.
Responsibilities
- Own technical customer support within the Wiz product, troubleshooting and resolving issues using collaboration and best practices
- Identify cases requiring technical or strategic escalation and coordinate incident management requests to product and engineering teams
- Design and implement automation solutions that scale the support offering through coding and scripting
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours, holiday, and weekend support coverage
- Schedule: Friday – Tuesday, 7pm – 4am ET (2nd shift, weekend-focused position covering US-APAC)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or equivalent industry experience and certifications
- 2+ years hands-on technical experience in customer support, technical support, system administration, or related customer-facing role
- 1+ year experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Experience reading or debugging code in one or more of: Java, Python, Shell, JavaScript, JSON
- Proficiency with command-line tools and Linux operating system environments
- Experience with Kubernetes, system virtualization, on-premises and/or hybrid cloud computing, cloud identity and security systems, cloud monitoring, logging, and local/cloud storage
- Familiarity with security frameworks or tools
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Fast learner with natural curiosity and passion for technology
- Must meet EAR part 772 and ITAR 120.15 definition of a U.S. person and reside in the contiguous United States
- Legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Nice to Have
- Experience with DevOps technologies
- Familiarity with REST APIs or GraphQL
- Knowledge of basic web technologies (HTTP, HTML, DNS)
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Routing, VPNs, VLANs, Peering, Load Balancing)
- Understanding of relational databases
Benefits
This full-time position includes base salary, bonus, equity, and benefits. US base salary range: $108,000 – $148,500 USD. Individual pay determined by work location and factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google.
