New Sign on Bonus - $10,000 Nurse - First Assistant 40 hours per week, Days Mercy Hospital Jefferson Festus, MO 63028 Make a direct impact in the OR—every case, every day. We’re seeking an experienced, motivated Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to join a collaborative surgical team where expertise and teamwork truly matter.

Qualifications

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program Licensure: Active RN licensure in the state of practice Experience: Must have a minimum of perioperative nursing experience

Certifications: CNOR and RN-First Assistant class required within one year of hire/transfer BLS/ACLS required within first year Other: Demonstrates continued competence in assisting and in perioperative nursing

Preferred: CNOR Certification.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. • Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
