Job Description

Position Details

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Pre-Admission Status: Full-Time (36 hours/week) Shift: Days Why Work at Mercy? We care for our team just as we care for our patients

Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care for patients in accordance with the plan of care, established hospital and departmental policies, procedures, and standards of care

Provides care for the patients as well as assisting physicians in providing treatment to patients in various medical settings Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications: Required

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program Licensure: Current RN license in the state of practice Experience: Minimum of 1 year of RN experience Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association Other Skills: Strong clinical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Preferred:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Certifications: ACLS, PALS, and NRP (required for areas where applicable; must be maintained current) Experience: At least 1 year of RN experience Why Mercy?
