Registered Nurse (RN) Surgical & Orthopedic Care Unit Full Time (36hrs/wk) Days Mercy Hospital Washington | Washington, MO Job Details Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Department: Surgical & Orthopedic Care Unit Location: Mercy Hospital Washington Schedule: Full-Time, 36 Hours per Week Shift: Nights, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Sign-On Bonus $20,000 Sign-On Bonus for Experienced Registered Nurses $15,000 Sign-On Bonus for New Graduate Nurses RN Benefits & Incentives Mercy offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your career growth, financial well-being, and work-life balance

Nurses on this unit gain valuable experience in both medical-surgical nursing and orthopedic nursing while working alongside a collaborative interdisciplinary team

Patient Populations Include: Orthopedic surgery patients including total knee, hip, and shoulder replacements Post-operative general surgery patients Appendectomies Cholecystectomies Colon resections Bariatric surgery patients Sepsis treatment and recovery Pancreatitis care Stable pneumothorax management Unit Highlights Nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:6 Dedicated Patient Care Associates providing support Strong teamwork culture Collaborative nursing environment Professional development and continuing education opportunities Patient-centered care model What Makes Mercy Different? Registered Nurse Qualifications Required Education Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program Licensure Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Missouri RN License or Compact State RN License Must meet all applicable state board of nursing requirements Certifications BLS (Basic Life Support) required within 30 days of hire ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required Additional unit-specific certifications as required Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to bend, kneel, squat, twist, and perform physical patient care activities Why Mercy?
