Youll thrive in this role if you: ✔ Enjoy fast-paced, ever-changing environments ✔ Love critical thinking and problem-solving ✔ Are comfortable making clinical decisions and working independently ✔ Value teamwork and communication ✔ Embrace learning and personal growth ✔ Are passionate about caring for patients and families during significant life events What Youll Do As a Labor & Birth RN at Mercy, youll: Deliver compassionate, evidence-based patient care Develop and manage individualized patient care plans Assess, monitor, and respond to changing patient conditions Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams Conduct bedside handoffs and patient safety reporting Educate patients and families throughout their care journey Utilize diagnostic, laboratory, and fetal monitoring data Participate in quality improvement initiatives Support professional growth through ongoing education and certifications Serve as a patient advocate while promoting exceptional outcomes Qualifications Required Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN) Current RN License or eligibility for licensure in the state of Missouri BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (or obtained within 30 days of hire) Additional Certifications May Include ACLS NRP S.T.A.B.L.E
