Registered Nurse - PACU (Part-Time)

Position Details

Registered Nurse Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast, Cape Girardeau, MO Department: PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) Status: Part-Time - min of 8 hours/pay period Shift: Days Qualifications: Experience: At least 1 year of RN/PACU experience is preferred

Required Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associates Degree, Diploma, or BSN) Licensure: Current RN license within the state of Missouri and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed

Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining license Must meet all state board of nursing requirements Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire

One or more of the certifications below may be required based on the position/unit hired to or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) Other unit specific certifications as required

/demands: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
