Patient Care & Clinical Assessment Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions Interpret and implement individualized plans of care Modify treatment plans based on patient responses and clinical status Accurately screen and triage acute patients Medication Administration & Monitoring Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively Monitor patients for reactions or side effects Record and communicate changes in patient condition Documentation & Communication Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient records Document medical information, assessments, and vital signs Report symptoms, changes in condition, and patient outcomes Collaboration & Care Coordination Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary team members Participate in care planning, implementation, and evaluation Support a team-based approach to delivering exceptional patient care Required Qualifications Education Associate Degree in Nursing required Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred Experience in lieu of degree: No Licensure & Certifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) License required Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification preferred Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification preferred Experience 0–1 year of clinical nursing experience required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Understanding of nursing principles and clinical skills necessary to provide patient care and treatment Knowledge of age-specific patient care needs for assigned populations Ability to maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information Knowledge of medical terminology Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to accurately assess, screen, and triage acute patients Effective critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities Additional Job Details (if applicable) About Mass General Brigham Mass General Brigham is committed to advancing patient care, research, teaching, and service to our communities
