Job Summary

We're seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of construction projects that support high-quality healthcare environments.

In this role

, you'll oversee projects from concept through completion, working closely with hospital leaders, architects, contractors, and regulatory partners to ensure facilities are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Patient Care: No What You'll Do - Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements. - Create and oversee project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are achieved. - Lead the selection, negotiation, and management of contracts with architects, construction firms, consultants, and subcontractors. - Direct and coordinate construction activities to ensure work is completed according to approved plans, specifications, and quality standards. - Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying key milestones, risks, and potential bottlenecks. - Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including healthcare construction requirements and safety standards. - Serve as a key point of contact for project stakeholders, facilitating communication among hospital leadership, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies. - Coordinate final inspections, testing, commissioning, and project closeout activities to ensure a seamless transition to occupancy.

Qualifications

  • Education Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field required. Experience may not be substituted for the required degree. Experience 2–3 years of experience managing construction projects within hospital or healthcare facility environments required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proficiency with construction management software and project scheduling tools.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, building codes, and construction safety standards. Excellent organizational, planning, and project leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities with diverse stakeholder groups. Effective problem-solving, decision-making, and risk-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on quality, budget, and schedule objectives.
