Summary The RN – Quality Clinical Analyst II reports to the Manager, Quality Outcomes and Regulatory Performance Under limited supervision, the RN – Quality Clinical Analyst II collects, submits, and analyzes accurate, reliable, complete, and timely data to an assigned regulatory agency, registry, or database for Ambulatory, Outpatient, or Inpatient populations
Data abstraction may be concurrent or retrospective, and may include pre-hospital, hospital, and post-hospital data elements This is generally accomplished through a vendor or registry platform or workstation
The RN – Quality Clinical Analyst II works in collaboration with internal care team members and/or departments, and external agencies (where needed for a particular registry/population) to identify opportunities for clinical quality improvement and other special projects as may be identified
This position serves as a mentor and trainer to departmental care team members This position also provides education, conducts presentations, and represents Quality Outcomes and Regulatory Performance (QO&RP) on hospital committees and meetings
The RN – Quality Clinical Analyst II possesses general overall knowledge of all registries and ability to assist when/where needed with Inter-Rater Reliability audits, data collection, or data analysis
