CORE JOB FUNCTIONS: 1 Follows established cleaning methods and procedures in performing cleaning duties. 2 Uses only cleaning supplies and chemicals that have been approved by management. 3

Adheres to guidelines for fire and general safety, waste disposal, dress code, and patient information. 4 Reports areas in need of special cleaning or repairs to appropriate supervisor. 5

Assists in the maintenance of equipment and organization of supplies. 6 Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets

Core Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent In lieu of education: One-year experience as a housekeeper in the hotel/ motel commercial/ industrial sanitation or health care related field. Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes: Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions. Commitment to the University’s core values.
