Department: 37200 Aurora West Allis Medical Center - Pain Management Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Monday

  • -Friday 8 hour shift between the hours of 0700-1630. Must obtain ACLS by the end of orientation. Cross training to Day Surgery and GI Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 Registered Nurse (RN) – Pain Management 1.0 FTE Where you will work: West Allis WI, United States Our Pain Management Clinic is a fast-paced, procedural environment dedicated to improving quality of life for patients with acute and chronic pain conditions such as back, neck, joint pain, spinal stenosis, neuropathy, cancer pain, and more.
  • Strong leadership committed to work-life balance Professional growth and skill development encouraged Expand your clinical knowledge in a supportive, team-oriented setting strong staff engagement patient satisfactory scores Were Looking For: Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Candidates must have at least 1 year of RN experience, this position is not for new grads Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association Requires minimum of 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
  • Strong IV skills Preferred qualifications in procedural, ICU, L&D, ED or Med/Surg What youll do: Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care Assist with patient exams Opportunity to develop expertise in pain pump management and medication coordination Collaborative team of nurses, techs, clerical staff, and providers Exposure to advanced procedures: Epidural Steroid Injections, Joint Injections, Nerve Blocks, Radiofrequency Ablations, Kyphoplasty, and Spinal Cord Stimulator Trials Specialized roles including Intrathecal Pump management and pharmacy coordination About This Location: Count on Aurora West Allis Medical Center for care that’s both personal and exceptional. Physical Requirements

and Working Conditions: Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.

  • Must be able to: lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist. lift up to 20 lbs. over the head. carry up to 40 lbs. a reasonable distance.
  • Must be able to: push/pull with 30 lbs. of force. perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present. Position requires use of foot pedals on carts or machines. May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease. Therefore, protective clothing and equipment must be worn as necessary. Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.
