  • Competitive Benefits Package $100,000 Sign-On Bonus Forgivable Loan Option Licensure & Certification Costs Covered CME Reimbursement: $2,250 annually 40 hours of CME PTO Malpractice Insurance Provided Paid Time Off: 30 days increases with years of service No Non-Compete Agreements: Freedom to work locums at non-Advocate Health sites Practice Highlights Team-Based Care: CRNA-led model within a supportive, collaborative care environment Clinical Scope: Anesthesia services (including general, regional, and monitored anesthesia) for adult patients across elective and emergency surgical cases Growth Opportunities: Mentorship, leadership development, and a culture of continuous learning Responsibilities Provide all elements of pre-anesthesia, anesthesia, and post-anesthesia services consistent with the anesthesia plan and in collaboration with the surgeon/anesthesiologist/surgical team Manage conditions based on clinical indication, evidence-based care, cost effectiveness, and assessment of risks/benefits and alternatives Participate in preoperative evaluation including assessment, exam, obtaining informed consent, ordering/administering premedications, requesting and/or review of preoperative studies Ensure readiness and availability of equipment, supplies, and medications to perform the planned anesthetic Deliver anesthesia care including induction, maintenance, support of life functions, and emergence from anesthesia Select, obtain, and administer necessary anesthetics, adjuvant drugs, fluids, and temperature regulating devices to manage the anesthetic, assess response, and intervene as needed Perform post-anesthesia duties including remaining with the patient, facilitating safe transfer of care, administering post-operative epidural pain relief and other post-operative analgesia, and making post-anesthetic visits Manage emergency situations by assessing, stabilizing, and determining disposition of patients, including providing advanced airway management, administration of emergency drugs and fluids, and using basic and advanced cardiac life support techniques Candidate Requirements Degrees, Licenses & Certifications Masters Degree - Nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices, and Nurse Anesthetist certification (CRNA) issued by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, and Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber license issued by the state of Wisconsin, and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration issued by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)/American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required.
