 Department Details This position could be either rotating (days & nights) or straight nights Summary The Registered Nurse in the Clinical Care Leader (CCL) role or RN role in One Call helps facilitate health care services and transitions to a higher level of care for patients in cooperation with the health care team
Facilitates communication and provision of information and messages in a way that produces clarity and impact Understands the importance of inter-team collaboration in breaking down silos and achieving business results and the ability to lead employees from various functions to communicate, coordinate work across divisions, and collaborate in solving problems as one team
Applies the concept of collaboration to build relationships and coordinate with other teams Provides feedback to members of the health care team This is NOT a remote position, but does not require in person direct patient care
One Call is the Sanford USD Medical Center transfer center that supports multiple regional facilities.
Responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to facilitate timely care transitions in the South Region, including emergency Telemedicine
Collaborates with other inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting.
Bachelors degree in Nursing strongly preferred in Fargo, Fargo Network, Bemidji, Sioux Falls Network and Rapid City Required in Bismarck and Sioux Falls (Sanford USD Medical Center and Clinics)
Graduate from an accredited nursing program, including, but not limited to, those accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
Minimum of two years’ clinical experience preferred Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications Certification may be required depending on specialty or service area
