About the Position

The Gynecologic Oncology office at Lemmen Holton Cancer Pavilion is a bustling and dedicated oncology practice that includes a team of four skilled surgeons and four advanced practice providers (APPs)

Our team is committed to providing comprehensive care for patients diagnosed with gynecologic cancers We take immense pride in the strong relationships we build with our patients, their families, and our colleagues, fostering a supportive and compassionate environment

The nurses in our gynecologic oncology office work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to guarantee that our patients receive the best possible care

They are responsible for coordinating the care of our oncology patients throughout their journey, from the initial diagnosis to treatment and ongoing surveillance

Our nurses work directly with patients in the clinic and also perform triage work, ensuring that patients needs are promptly addressed They are dedicated to providing personalized care, addressing the unique needs of each patient, and ensuring that they feel supported every step of the way.

About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health

operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area

Scope of work As a Nurse with Corewell Health, providing top-notch patient care is paramount Youll use your critical thinking skills and the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

Youll be responsible for upholding the standards of nursing excellence as described by the ANA, including the code of ethics Youll be a vital member of our team and strive to achieve the best possible outcomes, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Qualifications

Required Associates Degree Nursing Preferred Bachelor’s Degree Nursing LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire Required CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days Required or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days Required 2 or more years of experience as an RN working in oncology strongly preferred How Corewell Health cares for you Comprehensive benefits package to meet your financial, health, and work/life balance goals
