Our 18 bed Neuroscience ICU cares for patients who suffer from severe brain injuries, stroke or brain tumors and many are post-op from a neurosurgical procedures

Neuroscience ICU nurse s frequently assist with delicate procedures such as inserting central lines and pulmonary artery catheters You might also assist physicians with bedside procedures such as inserting a drain in the patients skull to reduce pressure

This is a full time 12 hour shift position located at NYP/Columbia University Medical Center Preferred Criteria: Two years of acute care experience in a hospital setting Required Criteria Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Current New York State RN license BCLS certification Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high
