University of Washington Medical Center-Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced registered nurse to work on our Rehab unit.

WORK SCHEDULE

36 or 40 hours per week 12 and 8 hour shifts Day/Night Rotation ​ DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Our 16-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit is rated as #8 for Rehabilitation in the nation, by U.S. News and World Report, and continues to hold CARF (Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) certification

Rehab nurses provide specialized nursing care to patients with the following: spinal cord injury or disease (including tetraplegia with mechanical ventilation); acquired brain injury; stroke; tumor; amputation; neuromuscular diseases; musculoskeletal diseases; solid organ, blood, and marrow transplants; and mechanical circulatory support devices (VADs)

Rehabilitation is provided by an interdisciplinary team composed of the patient and family and individuals from many health care disciplines.

REQUIREMENTS

At least 1 year of current/recent acute care med-surg nursing experience Inpatient rehab nursing experience and CRRN preferred Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington and BLS certification ABOUT UW MEDICAL CENTER-MONTLAKE UW Medical Center is an acute care academic medical center located in Seattle with two campuses: Montlake and Northwest

Compensation

, Benefits and Position Details Pay Range Minimum: $46.97 hourly Pay Range Maximum: $86.17 hourly Other Compensation: BSN (or higher degree) Premium - $1.00/hour ; Certification (Specialty Certs) Premium - $1.25/hour
Night Shift Premium - $5.00/hour; Evening Shift Premium - $3.00/hour
Weekend Shift Premium - $4.00/hour; Sunday Night Premium - $3.00/hour
